Clare Mountbatten is the current Marchioness of Milford Haven, born Clare Husted Steel in 1957. She is descended from British and American industrialists and her father was a stockbroker. She married her husband Prince George Mountbatten, the 4th Marquess of Milford Haven, in 1994. They have three children together.
Clare is actively involved in charity work and has served as the Honorary President of the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) since 2016. She has also worked with several other charities, including Child Bereavement UK and the Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund.
In addition to her charitable work, Clare is known for her fashion sense and has been featured in magazines such as Vogue and Tatler. She is also a keen sailor and has competed in several sailing races, including the Fastnet Race and Transatlantic Race.
